The Public Tested Jung Il Woo With Jung Ho's Image

In 2007, Wan So Nam's biggest star appeared as Junho, Jung Il Woo from 'High Kick Without Hesitation'. He ranked 14th in the hit search terms ranking in the first half of 2007 conducted by KoreanClick, an Internet user measurement research institute, and took the highest place as a person search term.

While 'High Kick Without Hesitation' was aired, it was searched for as a hot topic every day, and the kiss scene with Seo Min Jeong and Yu Mi in the play undoubtedly climbed to the top of the search terms ranking even on the day it aired. Back then he only appeared in the movie 'The Quiet World' and the sitcom 'High Kick without hesitation', he was able to wrap it tightly in Junho's image. Jung Il Woo of Wan So Nam Jun Ho is the image that best embodies the public's demand for stars since Gong-gil's Lee Jun Gi in 2006.

Jung Il Woo's first public appearance was in the movie 'The Quiet World'. He played the childhood of Jeong Ho (Kim Sang Kyung), a man who lives with painful wounds, and at first glance he looked like Ju Ji Hoon with a white face. Without a line, he looked at the camera and looked like he was groping for something in the past. His smiling face depicted an unfamiliar yet seductive loneliness like the expressionless expressions of Dong Won Kang and Ju Ji Hoon. But he was Junho at the same time.

'High Kick Without Hesitation', which rose in viewership in conjunction with the release of 'Quiet World', imprinted Jung Il Woo with the image of Junho. A high school student who was somewhat blunt and cynical, but sloppyly manly. The romance of a younger man was also added thanks to the setting of loving Seo Min Jeong alone.

Jung Il Woo, a shy boy, was a character that is a mixture of toughness that reduces weight, rebellion with laughter, and 'fighting' with holes in it. Although he shared similar images with younger men including Ji Hyun Woo, Lee Min Ki, and Kim Beom, he had a blank space that cannot be explained simply by being cute. The blank space, which seemed a bit silly, was due to his baby-like white skin and monotonous facial features, which on the other hand revealed the loneliness that smiles cannot cover.

Jung Il Woo, who was neither a handsome man nor a muscular man, had inherited the position of a Korean male star after Handsome Boy and Kang Dong Won. However, this was not an image that replaced a new trend. The youth star of the 21st century duplicated his or her character instead of creating the typicality of that era. And this overlaped with the lifestyle of that time's stars, who disclosed their private domains through blogs and mini-hompies, unlike existing stars who only expressed themselves through public media such as broadcasting and newspapers.

The appearance of stars in UCC videos replaced the elements of youth that characters in dramas and movies have missed. Jung Il Woo's 'Bathroom Selfie Photo' released through his mini-hompy and a photo of his hair cut for filming the movie 'My Love' filled Jung Il Woo's character, which was empty after Yun Ho. This was the emergence of the so-called 'cyber youth'. The public tested Jung Il Woo with Jun Ho's image and checked the answer on the mini-hompy. Youth ate age with time, but cyber youth ate with images. Jung Il Woo's images were broadcast live 24 hours a day by numerous visitors to and from the minihompy.

But at this very moment he is amazing actor to me and he has a unique acting style. I think that you also have same feeling about him. Let's cheer him up.

Thank You !
